Apprentice Carpenter – Collie

Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd (Collie), is seeking a driven and motivated Apprentice Carpenter to undertake a Certificate III in Carpentry.

KAEFER is a global leader with more than 100 years of experience delivering integrated services across industrial facilities, mining operations, refineries, oil and gas plants, and marine environments.

The Role

Over the course of the training period, you will learn to:

  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately
  • Develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Measure, mark out and cut materials accurately
  • Maintain safe work practices in line with WA regulations

The role will offer a blend of workshop and plant-based experience, while receiving structured on-the-job training at TAFE.

Requirements

  • Driver’s licence (mandatory)
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug & alcohol screening (mandatory)
  • Construction Industry White Card (mandatory)
  • Confined Space Entry (preferred)
  • Working at Heights (preferred)

Things to Consider Before Applying

  • This apprenticeship requires attendance at South Regional Tafe in Bunbury, attendance is mandatory.
  • Due to operational requirements and planned maintenance activities throughout the year, additional hours, including weekend work, will be required during certain periods.
